How to Interpret The Urine pH Results Chart?
If you want to keep a check on your health then you should conduct a urine pH test at home every other month or do it if you feel that you are experiencing signs of acidity. It is important to understand this urine test does not tell you what is wrong with your body; it only tells you your pH levels. If the pH levels are not normal, it means that the internal environment of your body is disturbed.
A healthy body’s pH level should be somewhere around 7 but while conducting urine or saliva test, 6 is also considered to be the optimal level. Each urine pH test comes with a set of instructions that will tell you how to perform a test and it comes with a result chart that will help you identify and interpret your result. If you find out that your body’s pH does not fall in the normal range, you should book an appointment with the doctor.
It is said that pH levels 5.5 to 5.8 are not normal as it shows that the level of acid is high in the body. This range shows that your body has a lot of toxicity inside and is attacking the mineral reserves. If the pH level falls below 5, it is destructive for the body and should be treated as soon as possible.
Level 6 to 7
You should know that pH level 6.5 to 7.25 is pretty normal and a person should not be worried about it as that is optimal.
If urine ph 8, it means that there is too much alkaline reserve in the body and it can lead to kidney failure, UTI, vomiting, gastric suctioning and many other serious diseases.
